PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk (IDX: ATIC) held its first blood donation event of 2025 in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of South Tangerang. The event was also supported by the Corporate People Development team from PT Computrade Technology International (CTI Group) and took place at CTI Group’s Head Office in Jakarta on Thursday (27/02/2025).  

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled Anabatic Berbagi Kasih, the event successfully attracted active participation from Anabatic Group employees who voluntarily donated their blood. This high level of engagement was evident in the number of registrants which reached approximately 100 participants.  

Awareness of the importance of maintaining an adequate national blood supply was a key factor in the strong participation in this event. According to the standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO), a country should ideally maintain a blood supply equivalent to 2% of its total population. However, Indonesia’s current blood stock remains significantly below this ideal threshold.  

Based on this standard, Indonesia requires approximately 5.6 million bags of blood per year. However, data from the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) as of September 2024 showed that the national blood supply was only around 92,000 bags. Recognizing the urgent need to address this gap, Anabatic Technologies remains committed to organizing regular blood donation drives.

By consistently organizing blood donation drives, Anabatic Technologies hopes to encourage more individuals to become regular donors. This would help sustain the national blood supply and ensure that patients in need receive timely assistance.
