Anabatic Technologies Tbk (IDX: ATIC) once again carried out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities aimed at combating stunting. Under the umbrella titled Anabatic Berbagi Kasih, the company collaborated with Posyandu Bunga Tanjung to provide nutritious food and drinks to toddlers in the RW 12 area, Bojong Nangka Village, Tangerang, Wednesday (03/04/2024).
“This is a form of our commitment to supporting the government in its efforts to reduce the stunting rate in Indonesia. The hope is that Indonesia can have healthier and more qualified human resources in the future,” said Camelia Suryana Bong, Head of Corporate Secretary of PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk.
Stunting is a consequence of prolonged malnutrition from prenatal to childhood. This leads to impaired growth in children, resulting in shorter stature and cognitive delays compared to their peers.
The government has set a target to reduce the prevalence of stunting to below 14% by 2024. Based on data from the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) released by the Ministry of Health, in 2022 the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia decreased by 2.8% compared to 2021, from 24.4% to 21.6%.
Representatives from Posyandu Bunga Tanjung appreciated Anabatic Technologies’ initiative and appreciated the company’s concern for the community, especially in their area. The mothers are very grateful and happy and hope that everything given will have a positive impact on the welfare of the children.
Anabatic is a leading public listed IT company in Indonesia. We believe this proactive step can be an investment in the health of the community and the future of children.
